Look at the black spot in the center of the grid while covering one eye.

Make sure you can see:

• the four corners of the big square
• all the lines, both horizontal and vertical
• all the little squares

Note and mark any distortion on the grid. If blur or distortion of the grid worsens suddenly in either eye medical intervention by an ophthalmologist is necessary.
